Scholarships
The Defense Intelligence Memorial Foundation (DIMF) offers scholarships to the children of fallen intelligence officers in the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. The children of Federal contractors are not eligible for DIMF programs.
We consider the Defense Intelligence Enterprise to include:
Defense Intelligence Agency
National Security Agency
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
National Reconnaissance Office
Service Intelligence Components
Combatant Commands

Requirements
The Foundation evaluates application packets which include:
Completed application form,
Copy of a state-certified birth certificate,
Proof of the loved one’s former employment in the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (e.g, Standard Form 50), and
Written or video essay on the scholarship candidate’s educational goals and aspirations.
Ambassadors Program
The DIMF Ambassadors Program is part of our outreach to the public, government, non-profit, and industry partners. The DIMF Board carefully selects and vets each applicant based on their advocacy for the cause and unique value they can offer the charity.

The hale dinner
The DIMF’s Annual Nathan Hale Scholars Dinner is an industry engagement fundraising event. These events facilitate intimate exchanges with current Federal executives and broker business-to-business exchanges with industry leaders in the Federal market. This year’s dinner will be held in Spring 2025. More details coming soon.
